Assisted Living – Low Intensity Nursing Care (Level )
These residents are able to care for themselves but may need assistance with some basis care.
 

• Caregiver available 24/7

• Monthly monitoring of vital signs

• Weekly assistance with medication

• management (blister packs)

• Social and spiritual support

• Physical and mental exercise

• Monitor special dietary needs.

• Social and spiritual support

• Communication with family members

• Entertainment

• Physical and mental exercise activities

• Daily meals (as per dietary requirements)

• Tea and coffee in the morning and afternoon with treats

• Companionship

• If resident is able, outings could be arranged.

• Cleaning and laundry services

• General maintenance and assistance as needed.

• Co-ordinating appointments (medical or personal)

 
Medium Intensity Nursing Care (Level 2)
These residents could use walking aids, needs assistance walking or / and need help with basic hygiene e.g., showering, getting dressed, etc.
 

• Professional Care Giver available 24/7

• Assistance for persons with Mental State:  Moderate dementia, as assessed by Jane’s Nursing Care’s assessment or as per medical report.

• Wound care (dressings @ additional cost)

• Ongoing monitoring of vital signs (Specific monitoring per resident)

• Daily medication administered on time as directed (blister packs)

• Supervised or assisted feeding

• Monitor special dietary needs.

• Social and spiritual support

• Communication with family members

• Entertainment

• Physical and mental exercise activities

• Daily hygiene care (if required – washing / bathroom / mouth care, etc)

• Daily meals (as per dietary requirements)

• Tea and coffee in the morning and afternoon with treats

• Companionship

• If resident is able, outings could be arranged.

• Cleaning and laundry services

• General maintenance and assistance as needed.

• Co-ordinating appointments (medical or personal)

 
 
High Intensity Nursing Care (Level 3)
(These residents could be bed and / or chair bound and might require a hospital bed)
 

• Professional Care Giver available 24/7

• Assist and care for persons with Mental State:  Advanced dementia, as assessed by Jane’s Nursing Care’s assessment or as per medical report

• Post Operative Care – Short Term (Assistance with medical aid claims if authorised by medical professional)

• Wound care (dressings @ additional costs)

• Palliative Care / End of life care

• Ongoing monitoring of vital signs

• Medication administered on time and as directed

• Direct communication with medical professionals

• Special diets and assisted feeding

• Spiritual Support

• Communication with family members

• Entertainment

• Physical and mental exercise activities

• Daily hygiene care (washing / bathroom / mouth care, etc)

• Companionship

• Daily meals (as per dietary requirements)

• Tea and coffee in the morning and afternoon with treats

• Cleaning and laundry services

• General maintenance and assistance as needed
